Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is a common type of pain in the foot especially the heel area due to degeneration of the thick band of tissue at the bottom of the foot. This area of the foot and arch bears the weight of the entire body and thus over time develop over sensitivity and inflammation.

The reasons for this kind of pain can be many. Long-standing jobs or not exercising the areas around the heel might result in pain in the heel portion of your foot. This pain is easily treatable at home with some of the physical exercises designed especially for the area. Our therapists will provide you with exercises and stretches that help to relax the heel bone. The underlying cause for the condition can be excess body weight and some vitamin deficiency as well which can be ruled out after performing some tests. The practitioner will examine the tenderness around the area and if need be might suggest you go in for XRay to get a clearer picture of the condition.

The therapist will suggest some stretches that will strengthen the tendon and muscle in and around the heel. The pain can come in bouts. In some cases, it’s always in the mornings when one takes the first step. Some simple exercises to stretch and strengthen the Achilles’ tendon and calf muscles can be done at the ease of your home. Though it’s always recommended that these stretches along with therapies are done in the presence of the trained therapist. Our therapies involve some latest equipment as well exercises that help you to stand on your feet again without pain and any discomfort. With years of experience, we promise pain-free heels that help you to stay active and perform your job without any problem.
